How to Reach Rajasthan by Air

Rajasthan, the land most visited in India by tourists who wish to witness architecture grandeur and a vibrant culture has been kept well connected with major Indian cities. There are three major airports in Rajasthan, one in Jaipur, the other two in Jodhpur and Udaipur. The airport in Jaipur, the capital city, is called Sanganer International Airport, which along with domestic flights also operate international flights to destinations like Muscat, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and a few more. Jodhpur and Udaipur are both domestic airports, with Jodhpur airport also being the base for Indian Air Force. Almost all major airlines in India such Air India, Go Air, Jet Airways and Indigo operate their flights on a regular basis to these three airports. Apart from this, keeping in mind the ever increasing tourism in Rajasthan, the government has plans to revive airports in Kota, Bikaner and Jaisalmer.
