About Trekking in November in India
November is amongst the best months to trek in Indian Himalayas. It is the month that welcomes the winter season and charms with the picturesque views of the forests turned orange and yellow; blue as a sapphire sky; and clear views of the distant peaks as well. November is ideal for Himalayan forest treks or any treks that have a trail cutting and running through a forest, because that’s where the magic of nature is seen prominently.
By mid-November, many places in the Indian Himalayas region start to receive snowfall. Thus, November becomes a challenging time for trekkers. During this month trekking opportunities are open in the Himalayan states in India. In Uttarakhand, Chopta Chandrashila, Brahmtal, Har Ki Dun, Phulara Ridge, and Kedarkantha are the top treks to do in November.
