Best Time to Visit Mana

    Located at a distance of approximately 8 km from the Mana village, the Vasudhara falls is another attraction for the tourists visiting this place. It is just a 2.8 km by road and then approx 5 to 6 km trek has to be done to witness these breathtaking fall.   • Vyas Gufa

  • Saraswati Temple

    Dedicated to the Saraswati river which is known to be one of the sacred rivers according to the Hindu mythology, Saraswati temple is visited by a lot of devotees. It is situated in the valley and reaching this temple would require 1 km ride and 1 km trek.

  • Bheem Pul

    Mana being a religious spot has a number of places that have significance in Hindu Mythology, and one of them is the Bheem Pul.     This temple is devoted to Lord Narayan's mother. If we were to go by the folklore, it is said that Mata Murti requested Lord Vishnu to take birth as her son, which was granted by him so he took birth in a form of twins named, Nar and Narayan. People usually go there during the month of August because there is a very big annual fair that is held in this temple.

How to Reach Mana?

Falling on the NH 58, Joshimath has a good connectivity by road to all the major cities and towns in Uttrakhand as well as neighbouring places like Delhi. The place is situated some 50 km away from Mana, and from here the village is easily accessible by cab.

    The nearest airport to Mana is the Jolly Grant Airport which is situated in Dehradun. The distance between the Mana village and Dehradun is around 341 km. From there you can hire a Taxi or take a bus, whatever suits you fine.

  • By Rail

    Around 324 km from the village is the nearest railway station which is located in Haridwar. There are buses and taxis that are available from here that will take you to the Mana Village.

  • By Road

    If you choose the road as the means of transport then you can take the route to Joshimath through NH 51 and then go to Mana.
