 What is Required to Get a Trekking Permit in Uttarakhand?

Original and photocopy of Government photo identity card: One is required to carry any Government identity proof such as a driver’s license, Aadhar card, Voter ID card or a passport.

The SDM Office, LIU, Gram Panchayat, and Forest Department Office have the authority to issue the trekking permits in Uttarakhand. A letter or a form has to be duly filled and then submitted at one of these offices in advance for getting the permission.
