St. John’s Church, erected in the year 1844 in Nainital had its foundation laid by the Reverend Daniel Wilson, Bishop of Calcutta. Kellogg Memorial Church in Mussoorie is another great church worth visiting by the ardent Christian devotees. An impressive building built in Greystone, this is an ancient Presbyterian Church built in the year 1903. The impressive Gothic architecture of this Church is a major attraction for the visitors. It's colored stained glasses are its major highlights.
The Christ Church in Mussoorie is one of the most visited churches in the state. The British Community established the Church in 1836. The impressive interiors of the Church leave the visitors awestruck. St. Mary’s Church in Lansdowne is another impressive church that is visited by the devotees in large numbers.
Haldwani, a part of the famous Kumaon Region also takes pride in having some of the spectacular churches like Catholic Church, Methodist Church, Pentecostal Church and more. Assembly of God in Rudrapur City and St. Joseph’s Cathedral Church in Kotdwar attracts a large number of Christian devotees.
