National Agricultural Science Museum Delhi
Everyone who has ever given a speech about India knows that India is an agriculture-based country and majority of the population is directly or indirectly involved in the Agricultural sector. Knowing this information, how many of us do actually know about agriculture and developments in the sector?
Keeping this in mind, to create awareness amongst the general public National Agricultural Science Museum was inaugurated by Indian Council for Agricultural Research. Situated in the Pusa campus, the 23,000 sq feet museum exhibits the Indian agricultural industry. The exhibition is the representation of the revolution in agriculture, dating as back to prehistoric times. One of the best museums to visit in Delhi to understand India, National Agricultural Science Museum has proven to be a major boost in developing and educating people about agriculture. The museum aims to also educate farmers about recent technological advancements which could help them in their total production. Agriculture is a necessity for every country but it hasn’t proven to be a big economic boost for the farmers and the museum tries to tackle this phenomenon.
There is also a kids section in the museum which explains scientific phenomenon involved in agriculture. Digital explanation of photosynthesis and the process of farming helps the kids in understanding these principles in an efficient way.
